The Chrome dashboard is a true innovation in the field of aftermarket motorcycle dashboards. Thanks to the combination of a true color 800x480 screen and a 400MHz processor, this system is able to provide full flexibility to the designer and therefore also the end user. With this new technology, you can design a display that fits your use, road or track, leaving the option to retain each OE indicator. The use of a color screen also allows you intro2to have warning lights such as low battery voltage, low fuel or oil, or the value of the reserve. At the same time this new technology allows you to create an easy and intuitive menu with a large amount of information. The display has been chosen by I2M to provide  perfect reading even in conditions of strong light, while a special glass treated with an antireflective coating eliminates unpleasant side effects of the sun.
In order to make reading more immediate the Chrome features a 12 LED high brightness totally configurable light system, that allows the user to choose the configuration of alarms that are preferred, this is commonly linked to the RPM (such as the classic upper bar) or for example to a temperature alarm, or tire pressure alarm.
The dash features a billet aluminum case and a gear indicator with seven segments, along with self-controlled brightness complement the aesthetic side of the new dashboard.
Click to enlargeChrome incorporates within it the functions of the instrument panel, clock and data acquisition. Through the convenient menu it is possible to choose from 20 pre-stored circuits (which can be changed with a simple import / export on USB stick ). The system calculates and shows the user the summary data for each circuit such as a track map, the best lap, the number of laps done, the ideal lap retaining history different to the previous sessions and to those of the current day so the rider can quickly view the progress of the current day. Thanks to the Chrome graphic display, this allows you to view the map directly on the monitor so you can change the position of the finish line and split by just moving the slider along the map.intro2
Chrome joins the reading of the position and speed via a 10Hz GPS reading RPM, speed, front and rear and well 8 channels of external analog. The data acquisition allows you to record up to 1GB of data with a sampling of up to 100 Hz per channel, which are able to meet any need. A handy menu allows you to select the sessions you want, ordered by the circuit and date and delete them or transfer them to a USB stick for analysis on a PC using the software.
The Pista Chrome dash has two distinct configurations, ROAD or TRACK, to draw each of them you can decide which is the scale of the RPM to be displayed, to view speed or temperature next to RPM, what to display in each display point between analog and digital channels, time, best lap and ideal lap, with time difference with respect to the latter (so we know instantaneously if you are above or below their best lap). Among the choices available, you can not even see anything in a particular part of the display so as to reduce the distraction while riding. If the system was in ROAD mode, it will automatically switch TRACK after crossing a finish line before returning to the road configuration after the session ends automatically.

Click to enlargeIn the 2014 season, Chrome has been chosen as the dashboard by Team Pedercini for both WSBK and for SSTK 1000 in which risders' standings Lorenzo Savadori finished in second place until the last turn struggling for the title. The continuous collaboration with Team Pedercini has allowed the development of Chrome so that the data analysis software is now available for all users.
