LIGHTECH "Track System" Rearsets - STD/GP Shift
Yamaha R7

LighTech’s rearsets use their unique design referred to as the 'Track System'. These rearsets for the Yamaha R7 twin now accommodate the original switch stop. In this case, you do not need to use the hydraulic switch stop that was previously required for street use.

Materials

Machined from billet Aluminium 7075-T6, the most suitable for this type of application! This is the first very important point to focus, because many competitors use cheaper aluminium like 6082 or lower. The main support of our rearsets is a one-piece engineered from billet Aluminum 7075, thus guaranteeing exceptional rigidity and ensuring safety and performance for all riding conditions. This is the second very important point to focus: monoblock piece means to be more resistant, stronger, looks better, better feeling for all riders but…it is more complicated to manufacture and it is also more expensive.

All plates, levers and supports are machined by LighTech’s state of the art CNC facility.

The levers work on high quality bearings that guarantee perfect and excellent resistance mechanisms even during the most extreme demands on the track and road. All this to get the best feeling for the rider with his own bike and accuracy when moving on to the saddle and rapid gear changes.

Rearsets are manufactured with footrest supports anodized in different color with a lightweight but strong magnesium heel guards incorporating the LighTech logo.
