The Aella Generator Cover Guard (Left Side) is made with aluminum (A2017) with a hard alumite treatment which enhances the surface strength and color matching with the magnesium cover. The color will not fade due to heat or ultraviolet light because it is uncolored alumite. (Slight natural variations in the color are normal due to different lots of alumite being used in maufacturing so the left and right protector may vary slightly.)

Maximum wall thickness is 6mm and the load is 2.5mm. Place a heat-resistant fluorocarbon rubber on the inside of the cover to relieve the shock applied to the case in the event of a fall. 

This product can be used with the Aella engine slider. 

Installation is possible only by removing the lower cowl.
