In addition to our standard ECU tuning features, this professional racing flash offers heavily revised assists and rider aids. This system was developed for the 2015-16 MotoAmerica Superstock 1000 Class.

This package is exactly what our team uses on track and features heavily revised electronics and rider aid strategies that are more effective, less intrusive at critical times and enable the rider to simply go faster by making the most of the R1's OEM electronics package. This service offers a simple solution for riders looking for a true 'race ECU', that is fully tuned and ready to race.



This system is designed to compete with systems found on superbikes.

 - This package gives you access to all of FTECU's latest rider aid strategies developed with the help of the top racers in MotoAmerica’s Superstock 1000 class.

 - With this system your Stock ECU becomes far more powerful than a factory YEC racing ECUs while maintaining YEC wiring harness compatibility.

 This system includes all of the following features:

 - Race refined TCS strategies
 - Race refined LIF strategies
 - Race refined SCS strategies

 - Race refined QSS strategies
 - Unlinked LIF / LCS (no more bad starts from wheelie / power cut)

This is a mail-in service. You send us your ECU and we reflash it to your custom specifications. We are offering a service we feel is superior to any of our competitors and with unparalleled support. We will make sure that every ECU is right for each rider. This is the same ECU flash we use on our championship-winning YZF-R1 race bikes. We can return the ECU to stock if needed, free of charge.

We will give your bike an additional 15-18 rear wheel horsepower and remove all throttle and timing restrictions on the bike from the factory that US model  YZF-R1 models have. This does not impact reliability.

Our 2015-18 YZF-R1 ECU Flash features 4 custom full power throttle and ignition maps integrated into Power modes 1-4. This is not to be confused with presets A,B,C,D.

PWR 1 features a very aggressive, quick turn throttle feel. PWR 2 is a bit more linear in how it reacts and has less sensitivity than PWR 1. Many racers and track day users prefer this throttle map. PWR 3 Is most linear and least sensitive of the full power modes, and is great for a rider who prefers a very linear throttle. PWR 4 Is the 'softest' and most user-friendly of the power modes, for those looking for the least initial throttle torque, this is the best option. 

Bear in mind that each mode makes the same power, so you have the ability pick the throttle map that best suits your riding style, or the type of riding you are doing.

Block off plates are suggested. Stock O2 sensors should be disconnected at the harness after this flash service.

We have preconfigured ECU images that have been fully dyno and track tested and will work great for your bike, or we can make optimal setting recommendations for your own customized image.

Your ECU is located on the left hand (clutch) side of the bike. It is underneath the triangular panel below the fuel tank. Simply disconnect the two wire harness connectors and pop the ECU from its mounting bracket.
We will ship outside of the continental US, but at an additional charge.

Each ECU is return shipped with $200 in insurance. If you require more, please contact us after your purchase.

After your purchase is completed, you will receive a confirmation via email that includes a questionnaire regarding your motorcycle and your preferences on our flash settings, as well as the address you'll send the ECU to.

NOTE: In the above dyno chart, RunFile 32 is a stock ECU with full exhaust. RunFile 45 is our flash and a full exhaust. RunFile 56 is a full exhaust+race fuel+our flash (with revised fuel mapping)
